Howdy, y'all. It's me, Roy Johnson here. I've got a themed NY-Times style crossword for you today. It's a special little tribute to some incredibly talented individuals who weren't too long for this world. It might be a somber puzzle for some people but there's still some light spots in it too. 

Fun fact: I actually created this puzzle on stream. You can check out the "making of" process by clicking this link. Of course, you should probably solve the puzzle first. I hope you like it. :)

This is it, everybody. Truly a momentous occasion. The first ever cryptic crossword from yours truly, Roy Johnson. This was a long and arduous task --- poured my blood, sweat, and tears into it --- but here it is. The first of hopefully many more crosswords to come. I'm sure, as a first time puzzler, this puzzle will contain some kinks but I'm excited nevertheless to show this to the world.
